Sunshine
Enjoying the dose of vitamin D today. I always laugh when I go in for my yearly physical and they want to test my vitamin D levels. I always politely decline the test. Its Washington after all. We are not the sunshine state. I recently finished a tattoo of Tacoma on my back. I absolutely love it. Jayme Jack at Tsunami Tattoo did a phenomenal job. I thought I would be done once it was complete, but I’m not. I am now on the search for something to incorporate with it on the lower half of my back. Well I guess I’m finished with my ramblings for the day. Thanks.

Living in Tacoma
I love the seasons in Washington. This week the weather is supposed to be nice and warm. It makes me laugh that after 2 days of sun, people will complain of the heat. The weather has been great for my vegetable starts. I’m enjoying growing the vegetables from seeds with the help of my 3-year-old daughter Delilah. I hope to post pictures soon of our progress. Yesterday we transferred the starts into larger pots before putting them into the ground. I want to start cataloging the progress from seeds to table. I’m learning about the different soil and conditions required and so is my daughter.

Hello world!
The bike my husband won.
I’m hoping to have fun with this. I think I’ll start off with the Red Hot on 6th avenue. This is my favorite bar in Tacoma. Last night they had a raffle for a bike. I sent my husband in hopes of getting a new bike. Sadly he didn’t win. I really can’t complain though. It could have been an ugly scene if he had won. My husband won last years raffle and I won the year before. The bikes are always sweet that it’s hard not to want a win.
